DAMOP Exhibitors

The University of Tennessee and the City of Knoxville are pleased to host the DAMOP 2006 Conference. This event will be held in Knoxville, Tennessee in the Knoxville Convention Center May 16-20, 2006.  

DAMOP (Division of Atomic Molecular and Optical Physics) is a Division of the American Physical Society (APS) founded in 1943. Its central focus is fundamental research on atoms, simple molecules, electrons and light, and their interactions. You are invited, as an exhibitor, to display your services and/or products to a nation-wide audience. Enclosed is a registration agreement detailing the specifics of the event, registration opportunities and costs. Exhibit space will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. The number of exhibitors will determine the booths used.  

EXHIBIT DISPLAY
The Exhibitor package, available at a rate of $550 (or $1000 for two booths), includes:

2’x8’ skirted table, 2 chairs

Back drape in most cases

Company sign

Listing in exhibit directory (presented to all attendees).

Two event registrations (includes Wednesday breaks, Thursday breaks, Friday breaks, and admission to all sessions). Additional reps, beyond the first 2, will result in additional fees. Other social events will be available at additional fees.

EXHIBIT SCHEDULE
The daily schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, May 16
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Set Up

Wednesday, May 17
7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Vendor Show

Thursday, May 18
7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Vendor Show

Friday, May 19
7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Vendor Show

Vendor booths must be torn down no later than 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19.

PAYMENT TERMS
Exhibit reservations must be accompanied by full payment. MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express are accepted, as are checks and money orders. Make all checks payable to The University of Tennessee.

CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION
Once a completed registration form accompanied by full payment is received and processed, a confirmation packet will be sent. This packet will contain additional information regarding the event.

CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be in writing to UT Conferences via mail, fax, or email (see below for all contact information). For cancellations received on or before March 3, 2006, fees will be refunded, minus a $50 processing fee. There will be no refunds available after March 3, 2006.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Room blocks have been established at three downtown Knoxville hotel properties.

Rooms must be reserved by April 17, 2006 in order to receive the special conference rates. After this date, rooms will be sold based on availability and the conferences rate is no longer guaranteed.
