The scientific program for invited talks is set by the DAMOP program committee. However, members are urged to nominate speakers and symposia. Information on how to do this for the DAMOP 2006 meeting (and the March 2006 APS meeting) is given below.

Invited talk/symposia nominations

Invited talks at the DAMOP 2006 meeting will be selected by a procedure that is new for the DAMOP but has become standard in other divisions of APS. Members should submit nominations for invited talks/symposia via the following web site:

http://dcmp.bc.edu/symposia/

The closing date for submissions is September 12, 2005. After this date, the program committee for the DAMOP will confer and select symposia for both the March (DCMP) and May (DAMOP) meetings of the APS.

The web site is for submissions to both DCMP and DAMOP divisions of the APS. Information for the DAMOP submissions is given at the bottom of the home page, but is repeated here for your information.

From the http://dcmp.bc.edu/symposia web site:

DAMOP members: This is the portal for DAMOP nominations as well. Every active member of DAMOP is encouraged to submit proposals for symposia at the 2006 Annual Meeting (Knoxville) and the 2006 March Meeting (Baltimore). Use the "Proceed to nominations" button above and select 21. Atomic, Molecular & Optical (AMO) Physics for the Sorting Category. See the July DAMOP Newsletter for details.

Contributed papers:  Information about contributed papers will be posted when it is available.

Social Program: Information about the social program will be posted when it is available.
